this hike tested my endurance and helped me learn the value of friendships that thrive when the humans involved push each other harder when they're ready to give up. i motivated her at the beginning and she pushed me at the end, and that is the only reason i made it to point 6. thanks for that, i needed it more than i knew, but i'd never understand the thrilling feeling of reaching a summit if you weren't there with me. 🏔🙌🏻 #friendsthatarefam

@abbyylynns and i were out on a very chill coffee run when we found a tiny little fawn that must have been swiped by a car just lying on the side of the road. it looked so sad and had a bloody little nose and there were ants crawling all over it so we said no way will this be the rest of his life. not on our watch.
